Hello I’m Simon, Cumbria born and bred, I’d love to share with you my knowledge and love of this beautiful county I call home.

Learn about the iconic Herwick sheep that roam the Lakeland fells, the ancient peoples that shaped the landscape we see today leaving a legacy of stone circles, standing stones, ‘giants graves’ and ruined castles.

Discover a world of romantic poets, artists and children’s authors from William Wordsworth to Beatrix Potter. There is so much culture and history to delve into.

As a qualified Blue Badge Guide for Cumbria I can help you get the most from your visit to maximise your time and experience whether on a half day, full day or multi day tour of the region.

I can arrange airport pick up and drop offs, collection to and from your accommodation and pre-book site entries.

As a Driver guide, I am able to provide bespoke tours for small groups of up to 6 people.

I can lead bike tours for small groups on electric hybrid bikes.

As a keen mountaineer I have walked many of the Lakeland peaks and am happy to take groups on hill walks or multi-day walks to take in the most of this wonderful landscape and rich heritage.
